termination under probation period

My salary is >RM1500 and still under probation period

My boss told me through A phone that my performance did not met their target and want to terminate me, the last day of my employtment is on the same date as well (thus no notice period is provided). I never go back to that company after the call.

For further information..

Before the termination, no warning either in writing or verberally are made.

Besides, under the offer letter, im being offered for the position of audit assistant. When the 1st day of my employment, they told me that they will put me under the accouts department first in order to strengthen my accounts knowledge before i can perform the audit duty, and i agreed with that. So now, i really dont understand how they set the standard and judge my performance since i never perform what i supposed to perform according to the offer letter, and im still in the process of learning.

Can I ask them to compensate or claims indemnity from them, and where should i go for?

If you are not happy with the termination, make a complaint at the Industrial Relations Department and get advice from them. You must do it within 60 days from date of termination.
