Hi Siew

Can sick leave be calculated on prorate basis according to the staff join date? or all staff will entitled for 14 days sick leave per year regarless the service months in the company.

No, not in the case of sick leave. He is entitled to the full 14 days even in the very first month of joining.

Hi Siew

If the staff only work for 2 months than he resigned, but he have took about 10 days MC during this 2 months service, can we prorate his MC and deduct as unpaid for the excess MC?

hello.

bagaimana jika staff ini dalam setahun sudah mengambil 28 hari cuti sakit.( chicken pox & miscarriage). bolehkah lebih cuti itu di bawa tahun beikutnyer. bermakna tahun berikutnyer dia sudah tidak mempunyai cuti sakit lagi. dia juga kerap mengambil cutitahun sehingga melebihi had.
