We have one worker which is everyday coming late to the office almost 40 minute. We already give him verbal warning and third warning, infact we suppose to terminate him immediately. but due to work responsible that he carried and he's actually good worker in term of his duty. so we feel quite lost if we terminate him.. but his discipline headache us!. can we hold his salary for this month for disciplinary action? is it wrong? his salary now is less than 1.5K.

In that case, I think it is better to hold a domestic inquiry and give him some form of lesser punishment if you don't like to dismiss him. Please read Section 14 of the Employment Act for guidance. Anyhow, something has to be done.

Mind to share my opinion,

All warning must be recorded in order to build up the case for domestic inquiry.

Consultation and advice must come into picture.
