Eversince I started working chinese firm / factory, I found that there are double standard labour law practiced. We are forced to work over hours but no overtime paid, beside it no outstation allowances too. This matter was being reported to labour department before but no action taken. We are in the doubt, to whom we supposed to talk to. Are we have to email this matter to the minister?

I sugguest that when you make a complaint to the Labour Department, your complaint should be specific. You must state when you worked overtime and how many hour of OT done. You must have proof. What about the punch cards? The time you clock in and the time you clock out are proof of the working hours. Even if you complain to the Minister, you still have to have proof. Try to approach the department again with proofs.

Hi there! I'm also wondering why I don't have overtimes pay. I have been working with this company for about 4 years now & I'm working on full everyday. No shifts at all. My employer told me that all supervisor & managers don't have OT pay. Is that true? I' m a outlet supervisor currently.
