Wages after resignation

What is the maximum days an employer can hold back wages/salary after resignation?? Mine inclusive basic/allowances has been held back for almost 3 months...Employer did mentioned a date which payment would be forwarded to me before end of the 3rd month.. Advise Needed..Thanx in advance..

That's wrong. You can complain to the Labour Department to recover the salary withheld.

THE EMPLOYER HAS NO RIGHT TO HOLD ANYONE WAGES. IT HAS TO BE PAID LATEST BY 7TH OF THE FOLLOWING MTH.
