Staff requested to extend probation period

Would like to check the below scenario:

Staff Position: Senior Finance Executive

Salary: more than RM2000

Probation: 3 months in Feb 2020.

However, she requested company to extend her probation as she is looking for job and will resign by giving a reasonable notice-period. Company would like to confirm her. Can Company confirm her without her acknowledgement (sign on the confirm letter), and she need to serve 2 months notice-period upon resignation?

Our company stated in the employment, i.e. confirmed staff is 2 months notice-period, yet to confirm is 1 week notice.

She really got the cheek to make such a request that and you still want to confirm her in order she should give 2 months notice. What for? You may as well tell her to give resignation notice now since she has no intention to work in the company.
