Would like to ask if we're on maternity leave, the allowance for attendance will be deduct?

And during the pregnancy, when we go for kk checkup, the timeslip is acceptable or non acceptable?

And for wages higher than 5k, is it correct if the company only pay single rate for working on gazetted public holiday ?

1. The Employment Act is not clear on this. In my opinion, maternity allowance should  not be deducted for that. Deduction can be made on salary of other months;

2. Timeslips are not considered as sick leave MC.

3. For those with salary more than RM2000, are not covered by the Employment Act. It may have to go according the policy of the company. Anyway, if the employer required them to work on PH and yet did not want to pay extra, those employees surely have the right to refuse to work on PH.
