Dear Labour Law,

2 of my employees did not focus fully on work causing an error to be made in production, bearing in mind this particular product code is not commonly produced as with a different specification. The customer has complained as product was missing a part.


1. Does it warrant a show cause letter to be issued? 

2. What is next course of action after show cause letter ?

3. Can a warning letter be issued instead of show cause letter?
