Hi,

If I had few replacement leaves earn from the previous year.

Example:
2015 : 2 days
2016 : 6 days
2017 : 5 days

When it come to encashment, the calculation is based on the salary for the year which earn the replacement leave ?
or it should be calculate based on the current salary ?

I would like to offset my notice period with my annual leave and replacement leave, so my company offer the encashment for me remaining leave.

I think it should base on salary the past years.

If you want to offset noticeperiod, you have to apply to HR for approval.

My boss asked me to work until last day and will encash the remaining leave to me, and my HR calculate it based on salary the past years.

So in this case, I have to work extra with my current salary, shouldn’t the encashment is calculate based on the current salary ?

To me, Replacement leave is not annual leave balance, it is your own arrangement and you can use your own method to calculate payment for it. It it were annual leave, the leave would have been forfeited.
