Dear Sir,

An employee who has worked for the company for more than 5 years, she has been admitted to hospital for 3 days (30/8-1/9/2019). Later on, she discharged on 1 Sept and the doctor issued medical leave thick "inpatient" from 30 Aug -  7 Sept 2019 (9 days) as she have lung inflection, she can't go for work but need to rest at home as advise by doctor. She go follow up check up again on 7 Sept and doc issue again MC which didn't thick inpatient or outpatient for 2 days (10 & 11 Sept 2019). Today she go follow up check up again and get MC again which didn't thick inpatient or outpatient for another 8 days (12 - 19 Sept 2019).

Appreciate you can advise how many days is HL and how many days for MC?

Thank you.

Are there words such as "unfit for work" in the MC. He or she must certified unfit for work. If you cannot get the matter resolved, you can bring the MC to the Labour Department and let them have a look at it.

"She is unfit for the proper performance of her duty" shown in the MC.

Can i count her leave as below,

1. 9 days HL (30/8-7/9/2019)

2. 10 days MC (10 & 11/9, 12/9 - 19/9)

Or total 19 days is HL?

Thanks to advise.

But 3 of the MC both shown "She is unfit for the proper performance of her duty".

Why is 9 days HL & 10 days MC but not 19 days HL?

Thanks to advise.

Hospitalisation means you actually admitted and stayed in hospital.

She was admitted for 3 days only (30/8 - 1/9/2019) and MC issued for 9 days (30/8 - 7 Sept 2019). She was discharge on 1 Sept 2019.

So total 9 days consider as HL or 3 days HL and 6 days MC?

Thanks to advise.
