HOW TO PAY EMPLOYEE IF IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OF SERVICE

Hi Siew,

Would like to seek for an advice. We were planning to terminate an employee with immediate effect due to behaviour and attitude problem during working hour. If we were to terminate immediately, how should we pay the salary? 

Pay up to his last working day? or we need to compensate another extra 7 working days of salary to him? (as there is no offer letter between employer and employee)

 Appreciate your advice. Thanks.

1. Pay him salary up to the last day of work including rest days;

2. Extra one month salary as compensation for not giving notice;

3. Pay for any annual leave balance;

4. Pay termination benefits based on the Emloyment(Termination and Layoff Benefits)Regulations.
