Progress to terminate a staff who is pregnant for 5 months

Hi there,

What is the actual progress to terminate a pregnant woman who is already pregnant for 5 months?
She had been services in our company for almost 7 months as a HR executive.
In past few months no one perform checking on her work and since last month we have a superior for her and just found out that she had been perform a lot of mistake during her work like salary calculation mistake, leave calculation mistake, payroll mistake, salary slip mistake and always giving wrong information like leave balance and so on to other staff.
The director of company was frustrated to her all these performance and we did sent her 1 warning letter early of this month. But this does not help tho, the problem remain.

So we are wondering is it a breach of law if we decided to terminate her?

If you think there is misconduct in her case, conduct a domestic inquiry and let her have chance to defend her case and you can decide what penalty to be given to her. Refer to Section 14 of the Employment Act for some guidance.
