Public Holiday pay rate

HI There,

I would like to clarify regards about the pay rate on PH:

If basically once we work on PH should be the pay rate is based on 2.0(double paid):

The situation here is that in my comapny we didnt put any rate for the PH to be paid to the staff.

Is it correct our calculation as per below:

example : 

Based salary : RM 3000

No of working days (february) = 20 days ( monday to friday only)

Payout rate for PH = RM 150 x 2 = RM 300

I would need to clarify for this. please help me.

If that is the formula used by your company, the formula seems to be pretty good for the purpose. It is better than what is provided in the Employment Act, which is (salary/26) x 2 for working on PH.
