Dear Admin,

Good Evening to you,

There is some enquiries below I would like to clarify:

1. Employer offered early release for employee 1 month earlier eventhough employee serve full notice of 2 months. In this case, employer have to pay only up to 1 month or 2 months of salary?

2. Employee themself requested for early release of 1 month earlier therefore employer accepted instead of 2 months notice. In this case, Employer have the right to only pay up to 1 month salary or needed to pay 2 months of salary? Or up to the extend employer have the right just to early release you without paying anything?

3. If employer rejected early release, there is only 2 possibilities of either employee pay salary in lieu or just continue to serve full notice right?

Appreciate on your kind reply.

1. Must pay one month salary if the employer wants release the employee one month earlier.

2. If the employer accepts one month notice instead of two, the employee can only get one month salary.

3. That's correct.
