Sick Leave on notice under probation

Mr A joined the company on 20th of June 2018. He has tendered his resignation on 17th of August 2018. He is given annual leave at the rate of 1 day per completed month under probation and Sick Leave according to EA. His last day was supposed to be on the 14th of September. 

He has taken 3 days MC from date of joining to end of August. On 3rd of September he had an accident at the work place. He was taken to hosiptal and given 1 day MC by Gov Hospital. However, he did not come back to the same hospital the following day for follow up, but went to another Gov Hospital near his place. He was not given any MC but only given the next appointment date which is on 19th of September. He then went to a private clinic and got himself a 1 week MC certificate.

He is asking for Company to fill up socso claim. Is he entitled? Does company need to pay him the balance of his sick leave? How we calculate his Salary for September?

As far as sick leave, he is entitled to paid sick leave as long as he has valid MC.
