Job Handover Procedure

Greetings,

I would like to ask if there is any rules/regulations/laws/common practice which governs the job handover procedure for eg: it must be in written documents?

Having said that, if there is none, does that means it is entirely up to the company policy available?

Yes, it depends on the company's own policy and also depend on the person who is going to take over.
