We send some of of staffs for training which cost the company RM2200 per person. Though we did not sign any bond, we did mention in the invitation email that this training is for next 2 years job plan. Now, only after one month, 2 of the stff is submitting resignation letter. Can the company ask the employee to compensate on the cost? We are not charity company. We did not tie them with bond on trust basis.

I don't think so since there is no written contract about it. What about the HRDF, do you contribute?

Yes, we do contribute HRDF.

  You got the training grant from HRDF I suppose.
