Termination within probation period

Hi,Management decide to terminate staff which is still under probation period due to not perform the job assigned by management. According to letter offer given Termination of employment 24 hours on probation period.One (1) month notice or equal to salary compensation.Immediate effect without any compensation due to employee default. Can i terminate him? Any compensation have to pay to him?
