Is it applicable if we putting in company policies with the strict policies which is, if staff break any of the company written or verbal rules and regulation will be issued a warning letter. Depending  on the severity of their actions,  (which will  be determined  by the  Management, there will  be 3 types  of warning letters with various degree of penalties:

1. white warning letter

2. yellow warning letter

3. red warning letter

Is it posible to us to fine our staff based on the degree of penalties. Actually this is based on demerit points. We already categorized Minor & Major misconduct

You can renamed the warning letter as long you follow proper due inquiry process before issue warning letter

However, i was thinking, who can give authority for employer to fine employee? other than lawful/statutory deduction, any other deduction without DG approval is deemed to be unlawful deduction and they can log complaint to labour office.
