SALARY CALCULATION OF RESIGNATION STAFF

Hi 

Seeking for your advise, i have a staff tender resignation letter on 7th May, officially he need to serve 2 months notice last day would be 6th July but his new company want to buyout his notice period for 3 weeks (16th June – 6th July) and we agreed. so his last employment should be 15th Jun but he want to take a week leave from 11th Jun - 15th Jun, his leave balance is 1.5days the rest of 3.5days he want to take as unpaid leave. 

i really confused with calculation, can you show me an example if start his salary as 5000.

It is not unpaid leave, in fact he should pay back to the company (salary/31) x 3.5 days. for short notice.  You also seek advice from the Labour Department.
