retirement notice by employer

My boss wants me to prepare a letter to terminate an employee reaching 60 years old by this coming November 2018 under retirement age reason. This staff salary is above RM4,000/= per month.

We do not have the retirement clause under our appointment letter but there is a general clause as below:-

"All other terms and conditions of employement shall be in accordance with the company's standard policies and those covered by the Employement act, 1955 of Malaysia."

I just want to make sure it does not go against the labour law.

2) If we want to hire back this staff under yearly contract immediately after his retirement age, can we do so?

I think you should give a call to the Industrial Relations Department and discuss the issue with the officer there.
