Hi Admin,

Refer to the above, employee is requesting to leave office 1 hour earlier every Monday due to some personal reason (working hour is 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m) by replace the off time during lunch time. No doubt this employee is still having his lunch while doing the replacement by nothing to do with work and just sit on his place .

Due to this special situation, company decided to give a time-off leave by utilized one of his annual leave covert to 8 hour time -off easier for his leave application and he also can continue enjoy his lunch time without any replacement. 

Does this company will be challenge by labour law if the employee make a complain to labour office?

It is up to the parties to work out arrangement. If both the company and the employee are happy about that arrangement, there should not be problems I suppose.
