Hi,

My name is Ramesh, currently I am working as a safety & health officer for a construction company in Penang. Joined them somewhere in June last year. They given me 4 months probation period for confirmation until today they haven't confirm me as a permanent staff. So now recently I got a new better offer and I decided to resign my work. So how many days of notice (resignation) I should issue the current company. Please advise me. Thankyou.

If notice period for termination of service is stated in the appointment letter, you have to give notice based on the notice period. If nothing is stated, you should give one month notice or pay the company one month salary as compensation if you want .to quit immediately without notice.
