Dear Sir,

Recently our company has revised the Handbook which some of the benefits also being revised. The handbook later was published to the company portal to all employees. However, there are employees that already enjoy benefits based on employment before handbook being revised. In this case, can employee still claim for benefits based on employment letter issued earlier or should employee follow the latest benefits that has been revised?

Thank you.

You can revise the handbook again by putting in a clause to clarify that it only applies to all new employees.

If we did not put this clause, is that means for all? Can company simply overwrite current benefits by upload revised benefits and applies to all? Can company do that?

Thank you!

If the workers are happy about the unilateral changes, they can bring the matter up with the Labour Department. Let the department look into the matter.
