Hi good day,

i am permanent staff and working in this private company for almost 3 years, I am expecting my first baby and the maternity entitlement given by company to us is only 35days paid maternity leave. We are required to resume work on 36th day which will be double paid and if we did not resume work on 36th day it will be considered as unpaid leave.

They also mention that if i continue to take maternity leave after 35th day to 60 days will effect my bonus.

I really need your kind advice on the above matter asap. Please reply this query to my email

Please talk to your boss, you entitled for 60 maternity days, if you not paid @ 36th day then you can log your case to labour office.

note : 60 days maternity included all weekend and public holiday. you cannot count working days only
