Hi,

I would like asking regarding Unpaid Leave. Let say 'm taking Unpaid Leave from 11/12/2017-31/12/2017, how many days will be deducted form my monthly salary? My working hours is from Monday to Saturday which Sunday is Rest day.Is it 21 days will be deduct from my monthly salary which inclusive Rest Day and Public Holiday ?

Should be no pay for the whole period from 11/12 to 31/12 including all rest days, holidays.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

How about if I'm taking Unpaid Leave on Wednesday until Saturday? Is it deduct 5 days include Rest Day on Sunday?

How about if I'm taking Unpaid Leave from Monday to Saturday? Is it deduct for 7 days including Rest Day on Sunday?

He should make his intention clear to say his unpaid leave is for working days only. Otherwise, management will make their own decision how to treat it. Do bear in mind, employees have no right to take no pay leave. Approval is subject to management's discretion.
