Company has reasons to take action. But to take the action, it is good to follow some process -

1. Give him a Show Cause Letter asking the reasons for that 4 days absent. In the letter must inform him that such absence is a serious offense and can be dismissed if he has no reasonable excuse.

2. When he reply, review his reasons and make a fair judgment whether acceptable or not.

3. If acceptable, no action but just reply to him with advice to follow proper procedures if cannot come to work.

4. If not acceptable, set a plan to conduct Domestic Inquiry. Let the panel of the inquiry decide & recommend.
