Termination During probation

We have an employee who joined on Feb 2017 due to her performance and absenteeism we yet to confirm her. She has fully utilized her medical leave and take 2 weeks hospitalization.  Can we terminate her without compensate 1 month notice?

Better to give her one month notice.
