Basic Salary vs Annual Leave

Hi,

I got a question to ask.

as i had resign from my previous company with short notice (5 days), so the HR told that will deduct my 5 days annual leave ( total balance 7.5days ), they also asked me to clear the balance and i agree.

today i checked the salary and there's another short notice deduction on my salary.

i not sure is my calculation problem or there's the law that even deduct the annual leave but still have to deduct salary because did not serve for a month ?

Try to have the problem settled with your HR first. If you can't do that, you may have to go to the Labour Department and make a complaint about it.

I did asked HR and what he replied was i didnt serve 1 month.If like that, wondering why he deducted my annual leave already but still deducted my salary also...weird.

Then you may have to bring the matter up with the Labour Department.
