If the staff has exceeded the medical leave limit as per Employment Act 1955  Section 60(F), would like to check if the company need to pay for the medical bills claimed for the remaining medical leave?  Presently the remaining medical leave we have informed the staff it will be treated as annual leave / unpaid leave if there isn't any AL left.

Thanks

It is up to the company whether to pay for medical claims or not. Excess medical leave can either be treated as annual leave or no pay leave.
