Hi,

The employment act states that as long as a female employee has worked for at least 90 days in the four months before starting maternity leave.she is then entitled to at least 60 consecutive days of maternity leave at full pay.

Does that mean that if she only works for three months, she does not qualify for the maternity leave?

Thank you.

Need more details:

1. What is the date of joining and what is the date of resignation, if already resigned and when is the expected date of confinement? .

2. Is she still working and what is the expected date of confinement?

Hi,Basically she is a part timer who is applying for a full time position. If hired, she will start on 1st April, and her estimate date of delivery is July.In this situation, is she entitled for maternity leave then?

Yes, to me, she is entitled to maternity leave with pay.
