My office will be closed from 26 Jan 2017 (Thursday) starting from 1pm (halfday) until 3 Feb 2017 (Friday) for Chinese New Year Celebrations.
1.5 days will be considered as complimentary leave while another 4 days considered as compulsary leave (UNPAID LEAVE).
Do the employee have any right to force employer taken this 4 days unpaid leave?
Your advise on this matter is highly appreciated.
We have this sort of problem every year during festive seasons. Consult the Labour Department see what they say about it.
