I have a few questions regarding part-time employees. We are a F&B restaurant and depend mainly on students who work part-time with us.
1. Is it legal to have them sign a contract which states that they must work for a minimum of 3 months?
2. Is it legal to not pay their salary in full if they fail to complete the minimum 3 months commitment? Something like if they resign in the 1st month of employment, wages to be 100% forfeited, 2nd month will be 70% forfeited and 3rd month to be 50% forfeited?
