Resign before notice period

I was given an employment offer letter of 3 months probation and increment of salary after 3 months. However, i did not receive confirmation letter during my employment period. Should this consider i was being confirmed or vise versa. After less than a year service, i decided to resign for new employment opportunity with one month notice but i leave one month earlier. So does the company have right to deduct my one month salary even thou i did not received the confirmation letter?(Note: I had done my transition before leaving). Please give advice. TQ

From what you said, I think the company can claim one month salary from you as indemnity.
