An employee supposed to report to work on 16th december after her 2 months paid maternity leaves.
Without formal notification and leave application in writing, (she just whatsapp only) saying that she cannot get nanny to take care the baby and intend to report to work on January. What is the legally and possible action we can excute?
P/S from whatsapp, we already remind her to apply the leaves on 13/12 and 22/12, she ignored with no answer.

What action the company has in mind to take? Let her take her annual leave or no pay leave, I suppose.
Balance zero days of Annual Leaves. Thus, we take it as Unpaid Leave due to no official application of leave.
She is jeopardizing company workflow and productivity being absent until no dates. We need to find replacement immediately and does the company has rights to terminate her without compensation?
I think it would be better that you seek advice from the Labour Department if you are thinking of terminating her service without compensation.
