I'm new in this forum.

We employee in our company foreign workers.

There  working time is from 08:00 to 08:00 with one hour break.

Means every day 3 hours overtime. How many days in a row a worker can work without any break?

Read up Part 12 of the Employment Act for details about working hours, rest days, annual leave, sick leave etc etc.

Thank you for your advice.

I've read through but still very confuse.

I foreign worker is working every day from 08:00am to 08:00pm with a break of one hour. His last rest day was in September 2016. Is it aloud to work continuously without any break.

Now 85 days in a row?

Workers must be give one rest day per week. As for foreign workers, most of them would like to work without rest in order to earn more. However, by law, It is really not in order to required workers to work without weekly break and you can bring the matter up with the Labour Department.

Dear KL Siew,

I'm earning more than RM 5000 a month on management role. in my employment offer letter stated i would required to work 44 hours per week. does my employer has a right to expect me to more than 8 hours per day on mandatory basis?
