WORKING ON PUBLIC HOLIDAY WITHOUT DOUBLE/TRIPLE PAYMENT

Hi,

I would like to seek your advise regarding the action should be taken if the company did not take some of the public holidays into company policies.

In this case, my company did not take Deepavali, Maulidur Rasul and Wesak Day as the public holiday since the management only take 14 days in a year for the public holiday.

Is this situation acceptable under Malaysian Labor Law? Kindly advise.

It is perfectly OK for the company to do that.
