Hi Team,

Recently I have accepted and signed an offer in Kuala Lumpur with company B. But the current company A is not willing to relieve me until my Visa expiry.

I have informed the same to company B by rejecting the offer on the next day without any delay.

But below is the reply from company B after my rejection.

If you fail to join, our legal team will send a notice for breach of contract and you will be liable to pay one month of you salary that we offered which was mentioned in the offer.

Kindly advise whether i should pay the respective amount to company B.

Thanking you

You can wait and see what are they going to do next, then you decide.

Hi KL,

Thank you for the reply.

Kindly suggest what should I do if they really send a legal notice to pay the amount.

You can wait for the notice from their lawyer if there one coming. After that you can go and consult a lawyer by showing him the offer letter. Get his legal advice whether you really should pay.
