Back Pay OT Pay After Revised Salary

Greetings

My company has renew and revised our salary after an appraisal process that over delayed for 4 months. Shall we entitled the OT back pay based on the newly revised salary rate that took effect from the month revised. Please advise. Thanks.

Appraisal process: April 2015 - 2016 March

Appraisal result came out by : August 2016

Salary revised effective from April 2016 according the increment letter.

If the revised salary took effect from April 2016, then I think OT should also be calculated based on the revised salary on that month.

Thanks for the info. Is there any motion I could raise or ensure for my company to back pay my OT pay?
