Hi,

I have an enquiry about the notice period that i need give to my employer. I have passed the 3 months initial contract stated in the contract but my employer doesn't issue any confirmation letter or new contract to me. I would like to terminate my employment now, how long should notice period I should provide to my employer?

The contract state that:

Tenure of Contract: The initial Contract will commence on 2 Feb 2016. The initial Contract is for the period of 3 months, after which both parties agree to a permanent contract.

Notice of Termination: Thirty days' notice or salary in lieu by both parties.

Is the initial contract equals to probation? I am not sure about my status at the moment; i need advise on the notice period to be given to my employer.

Thanks & Regards,

According to that clause, you have to give 30 days notice. The 30 days notice applies to both confirmed or not confirmed.
