staff termination

Hi,

Just want to seek for advice. I have a staff who resigned on the 1st April 2016. Since he is a senior so the company required 2 month's notice.

He last working day should be 31st May 2016. The company approved him to take his annual leave to offset his notice of 2 months. So when calculate back from the notice of 60 Days (2 months) the lastworking day  was on 19th April.

So my question is :-

1) Is he still entitle for the salary after 20/04/2016 & 01/05/2016 - 31/05/2016.  (The current salary for April is only paid until 19th)

2) He also entitle for the car, petrol & H/P allow. So is he getting this also for the month of April & May?

1. Since his leave was approved, should be paid up to 31 May.

2. If the allowances are fixed ones, I think he should also be paid. For this matter, consult the Labour Department also, see what's their opinion.
