Staff Benefits entitlement after resignation

Hello,

I seek advise on below:

If an employee undergo some medical treatment during the tenure with the company and subsequently resigned, can he/she still claim for the follow up with the doctor after the person resigned? Staff argue that the follow up has been already undergo before resignation and therefore it still valid to claim from the company.
