Espionage Case - how to handle the staff but without solid proof

Dear KL Siew,

Our company discovered a sale person involve in selling company information to competitor, but no solid proof.

the staff is a confirm staff with RM900 basic salary.

According to employment contract, the termination of employment condition is a below:

"termination of employment by an employee or by the Company shall be 1 month notice or 1 month pay in lieu of notice."

could we ask the involved staff to leave or terminate the staff with 1 month pay? without given any reason as we do not have the proof.
