annual leave entitlement

Dear Administrator,

I worked with an airline in Malaysia for five years and planning to resign next year by giving a three months notice. My leave entitlement next year is 28 days and I have already applied full entitlement and already been approved.

My A/L approved from 1st of March 2016 till 28th March 2016. I am giving 3 months notice on 1st January 2016. So my last day working will be 28th March. Do I still entitled to the full 28 days of annual leave? Which section of the labour law do I need to refer?

I don't know whether you are covered by the Employment Act or not as the Act only cover employees with salary no more than RM2000. Anyway, once an employee has given termination notice, he is not entitled to any annual leave  for the duration of the notice period.
