I am drafting my employment contract for my new worker. My worker is a technician with salary of above RM2,000.00. To protect company and give the worker a clear picture of company's policy, I will insert two clauses in employment letter :
i) Management has right to terminate employee if he absent from his work consecutive 3 working days / exceed 5 days in one month without seek approval from management / inform management
May I know is clause above breach the Employment Act as the worker is doing manual job (He is technician of servicing, installation of aircond)?
