My title at this construction company is Admin Assistant.
Monthly salary is RM1900.
On the "Malaysia Day" 16/9/2015, public holiday, my superior ask me come back office work as OT.
But told me that I'm not management level at this company.
So, no such things as 2x paid or 3x paid for my OT.
Now, what am I suppose to do?
Please help me, please reply me with your precious knowledge about labour law.
If you worked in normal hours of 8 hours on that day, you should get (1900/26) x 2.
If you worked overtime after the normal 8 hours, you should get (1900/26/8) x 3 x number of OT hours.
So, your normal working hours is from 11.30 to 1930. Working continues after 1930 is overtime.
You can approach the Labour Department for help in that matter.
