Hi, May I know how to calculate the wages if the worker work on public holiday(during weekdays), the rate given by company is x 2.

If i calculate like this: salary / 26 x 2 x total working days on public holiday. isn't it means that company already pay triple for that day since the monthly salary already cover 1 day wages for that day?

Appreciate your reply. Thank you.

it means company will be paying the rates: x 3? but company only offer x 2

So is that means that by labour law, worker are entitle to rates x 3 if they work on company recognize public holiday?

Also, would like to check, if the worker work on the public holiday which is not inside the company listed public holiday, do company still ahve to pay x3?

Sorry, I thought you understood the law when you said "...since the monthly salary already cover 1 day wages for that day". The rate given by the company x2 is correct then.
