Hello Sir / Madam,

I'm doing a hair salon business (service line) in PJ. Normally hair salons, the employers fixed 10 days as recognized holidays. But ours give all holidays off by replacement holiday. Our offday on Monday, if the holiday falls on Monday then there's no replacement. Is it ok like that ? anyway, their salary and commissions more than RM 2K. i have told them different company with different rules.

If your fixed rest day is Monday and a public holiday falls on that day, Tuesday should be a replacement.

By the way, the number of PH is now 11 days and no longer 10 days. The law has since been amended.

then which is the 11 days ? please advise.

but some company have replacement and some not. is also depend on the company's law right ?

Malaysia Day. Read this.

The Employment Act is the law, not the company's.
