I would like to ask is there any protection for employee with salary more than RM5,000 less than RM8,000?
If I would like to leave immediately after tender resignation letter, what would be the action could be taken by the employer? My serving notice is 1 month, where no elsewhere stating any action could be taken by employer of violation of this action (not serving the notice period).
Your employer can take court action against you if quit with giving the one month notice.

For instance, if your employer were to sack you without notice, though the Employment Act cannot protect as your salary is over 5k, you still have your civil right to take civil court action against the employer and vice versa. It is a constitutional right. In addition, the Industrial Relations Act, can also protect you in case of dismissal by employer.
