Dear All,

Would like to have your opinion on the issue below. which one is the correct calculation.

first senario:

Basic Salary RM4000 (30 days)

As I know, (RM4000) Basic will divide by (26 days) and times with (10days of encashed annual leaves) then you get RM1538.++ minus with EPF (11%) and you get RM1369.++. And you will have the salary slip reflected the EPF contribution. right?

second senario:

(RM4000) basic  for 30 days full month.

Minus two days salary due to contract date(RM266.++) it will be (RM3733.++) Basic.

RM3733.++ divide by (28days) and times with (10 days). Then you will get RM1333.++. Minus with EPF (11%) and you will get RM1186.++ (I don’t get salary slip for this yet to check).

which one is the correct calculation?

Josh.

Talking about payment for the 10 days leave balance, I would say scenario #1 is the right one.
